Is the device up-to-date with the most current firmware? If so, have you done a factory reset after the update?

Please proceed with the factory reset. This will help clear any old configurations that would clash with the new firmware.

I I did the factory reset but unfortunately the notification regarding exceeding data is still showing on my device when I log in to the net gear app to clear it I can't do so so every time I leave the house and come back I need to re toggle the device to remove the notification- JasonNMay 07, 2018NETGEAR Employee Retired

Thank you for your detailed resonse. We are trying to replicate this issue to gather more information.
What do you have your "Data Alert" limit set as?
What carrier is your device?
Are there any error messages or the device just doesn't connect?
Where are you getting these messages? (The Web UI from a browser (which browser) or app based. [iOS or Android])
I have attached a picture of the Wen UI page. Can you please send me a screenshot of your device with the same page?
