My Nighthawk M1 router is not removing data usage notification messages even though I toggle through the screens have also logged on to m.home and read the messages but there's no where to get rid of ...

Please proceed with the factory reset. This will help clear any old configurations that would clash with the new firmware.

I I did the factory reset but unfortunately the notification regarding exceeding data is still showing on my device when I log in to the net gear app to clear it I can't do so so every time I leave the house and come back I need to re toggle the device to remove the notificationHi Sanj11,

What do you have your "Data Alert" limit set as?
What carrier is your device?
Are there any error messages or the device just doesn't connect?
Where are you getting these messages? (The Web UI from a browser (which browser) or app based. [iOS or Android])
