Nighthawk M1
Just upgraded firmware and being asked if I want to upload the upgrade to my hard drive. Should I do this and if so, where should I save It? I'm not a tech person. Personal user live in rural area of Australia, no support except online. Had nothing but trouble with this device during and since installation. Advised to take the whole computer to Internet provider store which I did. Young tech guy said it was my computer but have now been informed that there were problems for rural customers using this new device. Will this firmware upgrade fix connection problems?

What I'm seeing is "Use upgrade file on your hard disk" option which would mean that you could upload manually a firmware image provided by Telstra onto the router rather than doing an OTA (Over The Air) update.
This is not downloading an image from the M1 onto your PC but the opposite, installing a firmware image from your hard drive onto the M1.
Is this what you're seeing or are you referring to something else?Do you have good LTE coverage in your area?
