Nighthawk M2 (MR2100) still show Mobile Broadband Disconnected.
I use Netgear Nighthawk M2 (MR2100) but the cellular is still disconnected. I got into the web UI interface to check cellular status, but it is still searching. I have already done a factory reset and many things for example setting APN, changing SIMCard, and cellular network but it is still the same. I'm not sure if it already happened after I updated the firmware or not because It worked before. I attached a model.json file and some screenshot to analyze this issue.

Based on the logo printing, this is a MR2100-1TLAUS (Telstra) version, not a global generic one one from what I understand.
Well possible, the "global" 3G WCDMA support does more and more disappear on the different mobile provider networks, in favor of 4G and 5G, these channels are migrated to different services as RF bandwidth is not an endless ressource.

I also have the problem with the Nighthawk M2 (MR2100) abroad after May 2024.
Don't know if it has been an update or what, but the led keeps on blinking red and the "Mobile broadband disconnected" is staring in your face.
It does find a network and connects to it, but then the Mobile broadband disconnected message comes, the led becomes red and you have no internet. Any device can connect to the router (wifi), but no internet.
Hopefully anyone found a solution to this problem, because the router is not useable any more and we were so pleased with it in May 2024 when I bought it for a trip in the UK (a month).
Please any one???

Hi Everyone,
Just found 2 useful links which solved the problem.
The best one:
https://community.kpn.com/mobiel-15/problemen-data-roaming-netgear-nighthawk-m2-4g-router-597480
it is in Dutch, but it has to do with the APN settings of your provider when they are set to fastinternet (4G/5G) then you have to set it back to internet (which means allowing slower internet) - save and it works like a charm.
The other link is a youtub, which removes the slack:
