Nighthawk M5 (MR5200) - IP réservée
Bonjour, est-ce que l'un d'entre vous saurait s'il est possible de "réserver" une adresse IP pour un appareil ?
Je voudrais faire en sorte qu'il fournisse du DHCP mais que mon Mac reçoive toujours la même IP.
PS: Je fais tourner un serveur FTP local sur mon Mac, cela m'évite de changer à chaque fois l'IP.
(L'autre possibilité sinon pour l'instant est que je crée une configuration réseau pour le wifi en IP manuelle quand je suis avec mon routeur 5G > ce qui fonctionne).

- The M5 is locked to the Telstra network and requires a nano SIM with a Telstra data plan. Naturally when you're in range of the Telstra 5G network it will create a faster connection but it can also connect to 4G and still deliver decent speeds.

Je me pose le même questionnement concernant l'attribution d'IP statiques directement par le routeur, mais il semble n'y avoir aucune option dans les paramètres du routeur (via l'interface WEB ou via l'application mobile) qui permette de fixer les adresses IP.
Je possède un routeur Nighthawk M2 MR2100, mais je pense que le fonctionnement du DHCP est similaire à celui du M5 MR5200, donc j'espère pouvoir trouver des pistes de résolutions.

Sinon, en effet, la config IP manuelle de l'appareil pour lequel il y a un besoin d'IP fixe fonctionne, mais ce n'est pas très commode comme utilisation. Peut être qu'il est sinon possible de faire tourner un serveur DHCP sur une autre machine pour profiter d'une plus grande maniabilité de configuration.
Dans ton cas tu pourrais utiliser directement ta machine qui fait déjà tourner un serveur FTP, non ?================================================================

I have the same issue about the static IP assignment directly by the router, but there seems to be no option in the router settings (via the WEB interface or via the mobile app) that allows to set the IP addresses manually.
I have a Nighthawk M2 MR2100 router, but I think the DHCP operation is similar to the M5 MR5200, so hopefully I can find some resolution.

Otherwise, indeed, the manual IP configuration of the device for which there is a need of fixed IP works, but it is not very convenient as use. Maybe it's possible to run a DHCP server on another machine to have a more flexible configuration.

en effet le routeur mobile ne permet pas de fixer une IP, mes recherches ont conclu à ce soucis.
Comme je l'expliquais dans mon post de départ, j'ai trouvé une alternative sur Mac comme suit :1. Routeur mobile : Activer le DHCP avec un pool d'adresses de 192.168.1.2 à 192.168.1.99
2. Sur Mac, Prérérences système, Réseau : Menu Configuration (liste déroulante) > Modifier les configurations > Créer un nouveau profil.
3. Sur ce nouveau profil > Wifi > IP fixe et congiguré en 192.168.1.100
