Nighthawk M6 Pro (6500) Off Net Firmware Update

Question

I am working outside of the US for a year. &nbsp;My M6 Pro is currently running&nbsp;NTGX65_10.01.47.00. &nbsp;(So, it turns off on it's own.) &nbsp;I've tried updating from the LCD, web page, and iOS APP - none work. &nbsp;From reading through the forum, I've found a few references that state an M6 can only update its firmware when connected to AT&amp;T network. &nbsp;Is this true? &nbsp;If so, is there a work around? &nbsp;Can I manually update the firmware from my laptop?

Look here:&nbsp;We got an update from the team that a new firmware (v12.01.16.01) is available to address the constant reboot issue that was introduced in the previous firmware. Applicable for MR6110 / MR6500 (AT&amp;T SKU) I. For devices experiencing a continuous reboot cycle, kindly enable Ethernet offloading to check for firmware updates on the Web UI. Please follow steps below:&nbsp;

I followed the steps in the link, but it didn't work. &nbsp;The MR6500 stated "Connected via Ethernet". &nbsp;Its MAC address was registered by the upstream device. &nbsp;When I tried to check for a firmware update, the MR6500 returned the message "Network not currently available, try again later."&nbsp;

Same issue, always a "there was a problem updating your device, try again later" from web admin, on the device and also tried the ethernet offloading. Havent had an update on the AT&amp;T network since I got the device, probably around june of last year.
