Nighthawk M6 Pro Ethernet port
After recent automatic update, Ethernet port on nighthawk M6 Pro not working. Can toggle it on/off, but has no output signal. Any troubleshooting suggestions?
Hello all. I was having the same problem with an MR6500 that updated to version NTGX_12.01.72.00. Ethernet port stopped after about ~1 minute. Mine had an available FW update Saturday evening after I had it unplugged for a day. It was the exact same version number. I updated it and now it works perfect. I think they found the bad code in the firmware, corrected and re-deployed it as the same version. Everybody, check for update.
i don’t think it was firmware that messier things up. a) they wouldn’t use the exact same number there would at least be a 72.01 or the like. b) 72.00 came out in july. it was some other sort of update besides firmware. a network update or something that was pushed a week ago and corrected over the weekend.
