Nighthawk M6 Pro use iPhone as a data source?

Is it possible to connect my iPhone directly to a Nighthawk M6 pro hotspot device so that I can use my unlimited mobile data for my desktop without an additional sim? My Windows desktop computer does not have wifi and can only connect to the internet via LAN cable. I would like to use cellular data if my fiber connection is not working, but don’t want to pay for hotspot twice if I don’t have to

Not sure that I understand the exact requirement here.

You could always by a USB adapter for the Windows PC. Then use the phone as a WiFi hotspot. Cheaper than playing around with a new router. Or do you already have one?

Nighthawk M6 is not a Netgear model. That would be something like MR6xxx.

Just another user with time on their hands.

I can only connect to internet via LAN on my desktop. WiFi not an option. USB does not appear to be an option. Nighthawk M6 pro is model MR6500.

If you have a desktop PC, one could install a WiFi PCI or PCIe adapter card in the PC and then you can connect the Desktop to the phone or MR unit. Might be a bit easier to setup as well.
