All kidding aside, is there a way to fix a non-warranty unit (locked MR6500) that's doing the boot loop? I can pick one up for cheap and would like to see if it can be fixed long term.

How do you do the firmware update if the device keeps rebooting?

Has there been a solution to the constant reboot cycle problem with the AT&T MR6500? I have an opportunity to pick up a unit that is doing this for a very reasonable price. Seller says it started to do a continuous reboot cycle but not sure why. I'm willing to pick this up for exclusive use with AT&T if there's a chance of restoring the device to working condition.

You have joined in on an existing conversation that may or may not have anything to do with your problems.
There is also a good chance that the official support team is busily monitoring new conversations and may miss your addition to this one.
If you do want help with your problem, check previous stuff that may be related then start your own discussion.
If you do decide to ask a question, you should provide more details and your own version of the information that the forum suggests that you provide.- JT240ZJul 09, 2023Luminary
I now have acquired a MR6500 that does the "boot loop" thing. Waiting with baited breath for when the firmware update becomes available. Right now no SIM card installed but plan to use it on AT&T once I have it fixed.
