Have updated to firmware NTGX65_12.01.16.01, router still reboots automatically 3 to 4 times a day. Need help, any recommendations? I only have a week deadline to exchange with AT&T. I am hoping the problem could be solved, as if I exchange it, I may still encounter the same probelm with the new one..
what they do not tell you about this update is If you update to 12.xx on MRxxxx devices is on most you will lose the ability to use telnet and close traffic on port 5510 and on all of them you will lose OPENMEP functionality, and not be able to mod and unlock them now.
This is just further locking down your devices making them more un-moddable which for the unlocked variants is rather sinister of them. since flashing, modding and unlocking is 100% legal

the fix is there for them in that link, fix rebooting and restore telnet to work again as it did when you bought the device. 🙂
