Nighthawk M6 to Brother printer
Having issues connecting my Brother HL-L2305W printer. The my network name does not show up and having issues trying to manually enter it.
Hoping im just doing something wrong or missing something.
Any ideas or a detailed explanation.
Best I found for connecting is this YT Video:

Thats a pretty old b/g/n printer. It might have issues with the new security (wpa3) or even just the new wifi standards.
Is your M6 on wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode for security? If so, try just wpa2

I read this to myself this morning and it smacked me in the face 10 mins later... "old" printer.
Well... i figured it out. i had the router set on 5g only and not 2.4/both
I only set it on 5g because im in a small space.
I knew it would be something so little and annoyingly stupid.

One option is to connect it with ethernet (assuming it is near the router).
What are the issues with manual entry? Would simplifying the network name and password help?

Unfortunately the router is in an out or reach area due to it being directly connected to a security system.
I figgured it out after reading the above response. Had it set wrong. being that i used all new devices and the printer being the only older device.
The printer couldnt accept 5g. Which i only had that on and not 2.4g
