Nighthawk m6500 2.5gb ethernet connection

When searching the web portal page the option was discoveted to enable ethernet. Once selected the option to select ethernet speed is enabled. The issue is that there is only 10baset 100baset and 1000baset. The decice is advertised as 2.5gbps ethernet connection. Is there a reason why 2.5Gbaset is not an option? The late 2023 firmware is installed 12.01.
