Nighthawk M7 Ultra unable to power off when in plugged in mode (without battery)

Question

When battery is in the device, long press power button show a menu with shut down option.

However, when using the device in plugged in mode (without battery), long press power button only show restart option, unable to shut down.

Any one can advise?

I have an MR6550.. It behaves the same way you described when there is no battery. I will have to say, this is by design.

Mine is MR7500. It is a shame. I always have to unplug to power off, not sure if it damages the device in long term.&nbsp;

That's by design... Not a glitch or problem persay... Been that way since M5 (First device I started using)
