Nighthawk MR1100 update failure/frozen

My device began an automatic update the last week of December, we left for vacation and came home to the device being frozen in the update. The device remained plugged into the charger the entire time. The screen says “updating device Please do not power off” with a loading bar that has not moved in several weeks now. I’ve contacted at&t with no avail. I’ve tried removing the battery, pressing the reset button a varying amount of times and length of times, removing the sim, letting the battery die, and hooking up to my pc. No change. Any one else have a solution?

    May we please know the device SKU (e.g. MR1100-100NAS)? This can be checked on the box of the product or on the barcode label

     

    Please remove the SIM card, press the reset button for longer than 5 seconds until you see a change in the LED then let go.
