Nighthawk MR1100 won't work without battery

Question

My MR1100 won't work without the battery installed. It is my understanding that this unit works while plugged in and without the battery. Any suggestions? The firmware is already updated on it. When it is plugged in and the battery is not installed it continuously reboots.

What power supply are you using?&nbsp;
I read in a different thread (months ago) that to run without a battery you needed a 2.4amp power supply for it. (of decent quality)
