NightHawk MR6450
Hi,
Bought this 5G router for WIFi in a Tesla MYP23. It cannot seem to run at all without the battery, even if it is plugged into a wallsocket. Just keeps telling me to use the original power adapter or put in the battery.
It cannot run on the Tesla MYP usb-c either. It boots up in a lengthy proces, just to restart because it lacks power again đ Horrible.
Are there any recommendations in terms of this?

Probably a better power supply?
I've got the MR6150 and have run it with aftermarket power supplies and cables.
You also have to ensure the cable is high quality too.
- KragsterAspirantI bought a Quick Charge cigarette adapter that can deliver 5v 3A and I will test with that.
It doesnât really change the fact that the product cannot seem to run without battery despite the fact that I am using the original adapter and cable in a 230v socket. - KragsterAspirantBut have you run it on USBC only without battery?
- KragsterAspirantYes đ with the original cable and 230v adapter.

Thank you. It makes sense.

Have been in touch with support. They think it could be the USB cable đ
a sketchy cable can cause issues.
I was trying to find the power supplies requirements and didn't find an official one. I know I've powered mine with a 30w supply and 100w cable without issues.
