Thank you all for your responses and input. The update was rolled out today for my M6Pro. Patience is a virtue.
My latest installed firmware : NTGX65_12.01.74.00 and RPI 03.00
Was this for MR6450-EUS100. I have to update firmware via fdt because my router is not booting. I want to ensure I seach for the latest firmware. 1 have found 12.01.53 generic eus100
