Stop hotspot from powering up
I have an AirCard 779S (Sprint) – NETGEAR® Fuse Mobile Hotspot. I was wondering if it's possible to prevent the device from powering up when it's already off and USB cable is plugged in? You might ask why would you want that. Well, I'm usually at home when I charge the device and I don't need it broadcasting its SSID. I have a home network for that. My current workaround is to plug it in, wait for it to boot, and power it off. The thing is, this takes time and effort to remember. Is there an option for this that I'm not seeing?

I could not find a option to keep it powered off it does not look like it can do what your wanting.
