Supported LTE frequency ranges
Hi,
I do have MR1100-100EUS (Nighthawk M1) here in Finland. The network I'm trying to connect is called Yhteisverkko (by two operators DNA and Telia together). The general frequency is 800 Mhz.DNA has frequency area (in receive) 832-842 MHz and Telia 842-852 Mhz. Can this router handle or support like LTE-A or LTE+ these very near frequencies?
The router tries connect to 4G+ but it disappers quite soon. The distance to nearest tower is about 1 km. Normal 4G connectoin works with this 800 MHz. Also noticed at different area (at city of Helsinki area) with 800 and 1800 MHz is working well.
Hi,
You have a misunderstanding what comes to those 800 Mhz frequencies. Yhteisverkko(Finnish Shared Network) uses combined spectrum for 800 MHz bandwidth 20 MHz(Telia 10 MHz+DNA 10 MHz). When it is combined there is no carrier aggregation, it is a single cell thing.. Carrier aggregation called B20+B20 does not exist. When you see that 4G+ RAT symbol sometimes it probably means that your MR1100 device and basestation try to use carrier aggregation between B20 and some other frequency band.
