USB Tethering to Macbook Pro

Hello,

I changed from Huawei Pocket Router to Netgear AC810
But it seems it wasn't worth it.. my problem here is i cannot USB tether to my Macbook Pro..
Even after upgraded it to MacOS Sierra Ver. 10.12.4

is there any solution for this? its been more then 3 years
