Using LTE LB1120 and/or LB2120 as a regular (non LTE) Modem

Can the  LB1120 and /or LB2120 LTE modems also be used as a regular (non-LTE) modem without using a sim card, or can it only be used as a LTE modem?  I want to get one to use with Millenicom’s Ultimate LTE Plan and Premium Streaming.  However, if I have trouble using it with Millenicom's sim card, I want to be able to bypass the LTE function and use it as a regular modem connected to my Motorola MR 1700 router with my current AT&T wired DSL connection.  Just don’t want to get stuck with unusable modem if, for some reason, my plan to use it as with the Millenicom’s sim card doesn’t work out.

  • I own an LB1120 and the only WAN input it has is LTE, there is no provision for a wired or wireless WAN input.
