verifying correct purchase of LM1200 LTE 4G Modem was made
I just purchased the LM1200 LTE 4G Modem and I'm thinking of using a cricket wireless sim card. However I don't know if this model will be compatible. I went on the cricket website and in order to verify its compatibility I need the IMEI number which i dont have yet. Another thing, i feel like its a silly question, but is this device "unlocked" i know if it can be used with any provider the device being "unlocked" should not be an issue, just wondering.
Also, what is the difference between the LM1200 the LB1120 and the LB2120 LTE Modems?... I couldnt find my actual modem model number on the "model" section so please forgive me if i selected two completely different model numbers than the one i'm asking about.
At this point any information will help... thank you in advance.

Not at all silly. A device is "unlocked" if it is not tied to a particular mobile operator. Locked devices are usually supplied buy the operator. They offer a discount and/or a contract to lock you on to their network.

The LM1200 seems to be a new device and Netgear hasn't got round to producing a complete manual.
Look at the label on the bottom. That should have an IMEI as well as your model number.
- TurkishfriedAspirantHey friend. Not sure if you got your lm1200 yet but I have one and I have cricket. I was able to get it to work by switching the APN to Cricket ndo.
The device will show not compatible with cricket. It'll say it's a 3g device. But when you switch the APN profile it'll show 4g.- JohnPengNETGEAR Expert
LM1200 is ceritified by AT&T and it will work with Cricket for sure. Please make sure to manually edit the APN for Cricket SIM.
