what IP should I be getting when running in ip-passthrough mode?
Hi there!
I have a Nighthawk M1, running in modem/IP passthrough (with Eathernet data-offloading enabled). What IP should I be seeing on the device that connected through the M1's Eathernet port? I thought the public IP should be handed over to the connected device directly but the device is getting an 10.xx.xxx.xxx IP. Is tihis what should be happening? Can any one explain to me a bit why I'm seeing that and whre is that IP coming from? That IP is dynamic and changes with every [re]boot.

With devices such as tablets, iphones, ipads, every time you change the mode such as turning on airplane mode and then turning it off, the IP address will change but I don't know with the change with each startup again.

I'm not really concerned about change of IP address or how many times it changes but why I'm getting a 10.xx.xxx.xxx private IP rather the actual publick ip-address and where does it come from? Any idea from anyone?

Since you enabled Eathernet data-offloading, the IP should come from your home router, I think.
The IP passthrough setting is for WWAN connection. When you connect to your carrier Network, the IP address you receive from the devcie should be the public IP assigned by your carrier.
Thanks
