GSM4352PS,PA,PB Mix & match

Correct! The M4300 datasheet should explain it all at the beginning, in its Hardware at a Glance section:

The M4300-52G-PoE+ model number is either GSM4352PA when it comes with APS550W PSU or GSM4253PB when it comes with APS1000W PSU.
The switch itself remains the same, product family is GSM4352PS on the product label or in the software. The PoE budget depends on which PSU(s) in the switch as shown in the At a Glance table.
The APS550W and APS1000W can't be mixed and matched in the same switch, it won't be supported by the switch. It is possible to change the type of PSU, but always with the same new one(s) .
So if you have one APS550W because you procured a GSM4352PA, you can swap the APS550W and replace it by one APS1000W new PSU. You can add a second APS1000W for redundancy or additional PoE power.

While I'm not 100% certain since I'm only access my M4300's remotely based on checking the firmware release notes and from what I remember when I last physicalle touched them I'm maybe 90% certain: If you check i.e. the firmware Download page for 12.0.7.17 you will see a list of applicable models (Netgear stopped mentioning applicable models in recent versions, the firmware is for all M4300 models). In that list you will only see a GSM4352PS being mentioned, no -PA or -PB mentioned.
The PA and PB suffix is a SKU number, the switch remains the same, the sole difference being the capacity of the power supply the switch is sold with. You can always upgrade a unit bought with a 1x 550W PSU to a 1x 1000W (or even 2x 1000W), technically upgrading it to a GSM4352PB. I have both 550W and 1000W variants and they all show up as M4300-52G-PoE+ remotely and if I remember correctly the label on the switch is always GSM4352PS no matter of the original PSU.
Here is the output of a 'show power' on a stack with 3 of these switches in 1 stack, 2 of them have the 1000W PSU while the last one has 550W PSU:
