    Correct! The M4300 datasheet should explain it all at the beginning, in its Hardware at a Glance section:

    The M4300-52G-PoE+ model number is either GSM4352PA when it comes with APS550W PSU or GSM4253PB when it comes with APS1000W PSU.

    The switch itself remains the same, product family is GSM4352PS on the product label or in the software. The PoE budget depends on which PSU(s) in the switch as shown in the At a Glance table.

    The APS550W and APS1000W can't be mixed and matched in the same switch, it won't be supported by the switch. It is possible to change the type of PSU, but always with the same new one(s) .

    So if you have one APS550W because you procured a GSM4352PA, you can swap the APS550W and replace it by one APS1000W new PSU. You can add a second APS1000W for redundancy or additional PoE power.
