Log for computer loosing network
I have a computer connectected to my switch that loose network connection once a while. No red x on network card only no receiving and transmitting packet. I was wondering what is the best way to monitor if the newtwork switch cut the connection to the computer? By port log or ip log and how would you degug this issue.
Thanks,
Hi lremillard,

You may want to check if your NETGEAR switch generates some logs to see where and when the disconnection happens based on the MAC address and ethernet port used by your computer (wired). Also, try to check and isolate if changing cables and switch ports would help.
Kind regards,
