M4300-96X: Voice VLANs & 802.1X Bypass
Hello All,
Apologies if this is question that has already been answered.
I'm currently aiming to configure an M4300-96X with some access ports that utilise both 802.1X and Voice VLANs simultaneously. The 802.1X is currently setup using RADIUS for port authentication, with guest and unauthenticated VLANs set to a VLAN with only internet access, while authenticated devices reach our enterprise VLAN. This is working as expected.
Voice VLANs have also been configured on other access ports and supplying IP Phones with the correct Voice VLAN allocation.
The problem appears when i configure both 802.1X and Voice VLANs on the same access port. IP Phones will be treated as unauthenticated and will be given the unauthenticated VLAN, rather than the Voice VLAN. Is there anyway of prioritising the Voice VLAN and bypassing the 802.1X?
I would appreciate any insight into this.
Many thanks in advance.
