M4350 Firmware Upgrade from v 12.0.17.10, B1.0.0.17 to v 14.0.2.26 Fails
Hello, I just acquired Q4 of the 4300--52-POE+ switches. I can logon to all of them and all sensors and lights show nominal working condition (everything is Green and no alerts). The current ver...

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, I figured that out that I had the wrong firmware. But the unfortunately, its because of how Netgear indicates model numbers. My M4300 is model number GSM4352PB. Given the 4352 in the model name, I believed this was a model within the 4350 line. Obviously it isn't. No worries. I upgraded it successfully to 12.0.19.x version of firmware. Know that I very much appreciate the help, and I would respectfully suggest that Netgear change its approach of model numbers to avoid such confusions (again stated with kindness and good intention).
We can now close this as being resolved. Again, thank you!!!!

Schumaku, thank you for your response. Yes, I've owned many of Layer 3 Netgear and Cisco switches and configured them. And, I'm very well aware of image1 and image2. The upgrade doesn't update either image. I even went into the configuration to indicate which image should be the upgraded, but neither that image (e.g. image2) or the other image (e.g. image 1) gets upgraded to the new 14.0.2.26 firmware. After the Upgrade process completes and indicates same, and after the Save Prior to Reboot is applied, after rebooting the switch, the images (both image1 and image2) remain at 12.0.17.10. Stated differently, neither of the two images upgrades to 14.0.2.26 firmware.
Also, when I perform the upgrade process, I have alternatively chosen the None, Verify, No Verify radio button options when selecting the firmware image file to make certain that the firmware file is completely and correctly downloaded to the switch before upgrading. Regardless of that choice (None, Verify, No Verify), and no matter which image (image1 or image2) I pick to be "True" as to which one gets the upgrade firmware and then boots and the current running configuration, the upgrade fails on both image1 and image2. Both those images on the switch remain as they were, at the same previous firmware level.
So I don't think this issue is related to updated versus running configuration image selection on the switch.

Mike,
Please re-read my previous resply again.
The M4350 v14.0.2.26 images will never become active on a M4300 model.
