Just had an 8 hour downtime last night due to this switch.
power went off for 10 minutes, and a fauly UPS caused this and other machines to poweroff.
On powerup the units strated working but we noticed that the ports on the machines connected to this switch were being swamped and losing data.
On checking and debugging the system it turned out that the igmp filtering was NOT working. it was letting ALL data through to all ports.
We then started trying to check the configuration and nothing was untoward. we then upgraded to 10.0.0.44 as per the latest pdf and still we could not get this unit to work, also the pdf shows options that we dont have in relation to IGMP Filtering
After 6 hours of fruitless work I decided to factory reset the unit, and once i had setup the same IGMP snooping and filtering IT ALL WORKED.
I have compared what I set now and what was in the unit when it was not working and there is no difference. We just use it for IGMP filtering.
How can a simple power outage cause a unit to stop working.
