Reserved static ip based on mac address using GS748T switch
I recently bought a GS748T. I'm trying to set a static ip address for a workstation connected to the switch, using mac based vlan.
The switch is currently connect to a DHCP server as well.
Using the GUI, I've set up a vlan=10 for the given mac address of the workstation.
However, I don't know how to set up a static ip (192.168.0.2) for the mac address introduced above.
My goal is to set a static ip for the workstation (192.169.0.2) and be able to connect it to the switch.
I'm wondering if anybody knows how to do this.

Welcome to the community! :)
There is no option to either set or reserved a static IP address on the GS748T switch. Reserving an IP address for a specific MAC address of a PC or workstation is usually configured on the router.
You may want to configure MAC-based Port Security in order to allow only the MAC Address of the PC/workstation on a specific port of the GS748T switch. Let me share this forum link below and use it as your reference:

I found another way to solve the problem.
I set a static ip on the workstation. I didn't set the mac address on the switch. Although the ip is not set on the port, every time I plug in the workstation, it picks up the same ip it was set before. I'm tring to make a computer cluster by linking several compute nodes through the switch.
So I set static ip addresses on the compute nodes (workstations). They can easily communicate to one another via the switch; although the switch is connected to a DHCP server.
I also have a head node which is connected to the switch using two ports, eth0 and eth1. On eth0, I've used DHCP, and on eth1, I set a static ip on the head node. So I can now ssh from outside of network to the head node through the switch, and the head node itself is connected to the compute nodes through the static ip addresses. The computer clusters works great as of now.
I will try your way though, and let you know if that works.
