5-Port Gigabyte Switch (managed)
Does the GS105Ev2, switch allow me to route incoming traffic to a specific Port only? Specifically, route to a Web server.

In the past the LAN routing feature was built into the Modem
I wish to host a Webserver at my office, and route incoming (external) traffic to Port 80, 443 and other ports to a specific internal Local Network IP Address (i.e. 192.168.1.xxx).
Apparently, a switch is not the resolution. I think what I am searching for is a LAN Router. What does Netgear offer that will serve my purpose?
I hope I explained my request clearly enough.

Most newer ISP supplied cable CPEs are modems and NAT routers these days.

Yes, plain standard port forwarding on the router does the job.

Sure, many different models available from Netgear. DIfferentiation are Wi-Fi technology, Wi-Fi Mesh tehnology to expand the wireless coverage, specality models for gaming, ... Personally, I would avoid buying integrated cable modem and router combos, unless you get some affordable or free offers from the ISP.

Can anyone list model numbers of Lan Routers that will serve my purpose.
The reason, I am in the community asking this question, is I recently purchased and returned 2 NetGear routers, becuase they did not contain the features I am seeking (LAN Router Configuration) . The most recent was a Nighthawk AC 1200, that is solely a WIFI Router.
Help!

Netgear offers DSL routers (xDSL WAN/Internet connection), Cable Router (Cable TV Modem serving WAN/Internet connection to the TV network ISP), Mobile Routers (with 3G/4G/5G mobile network WAN/Internet connection), normal "routers" (with an Ethernet port for the Internet/WAN). Except of the portable Mobile Routers, all offer typically four Ethernet LAN ports. There are also other devices like WiFI extenders under the Nightawk logo ...

Far to many my friend Arthur. All the ones linked under the three categories above are such routers currently available from Netgear.

Difficult to check the devices in question without the excat model designation.

Hardly think there is a pure routers with an Ethernet WAN port and only WiFi. Be aware that most modern routers in this consumer market are supporting WiFi _and_ LAN ports, but are designated as a WiFi router. For example the "AC1200 WiFi Router Dual-Band WiFi Router (up to 1.2Gbps) - Long range coverage, high performance", Model R6230 - a WiFi router, one Gigabit Ethernet WAN/Internet port, four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. The feature you are behind is shown in the user documentation as "Port Forwarding to a Local Server". Example: AC1200 Smart WiFi Router with External Antennas Model R6230 User Manual p.119 ff. Note: This feature exists on virtually all router types.
Before ordering the next router, please let us know about your Internet connection, the Internet bandwidth you intend to subscribe (or the max the ISP does offer). This has an impact on the router.
Beyond, in many case there are ISP supplied CPEs which serve as a WiFi (and LAN router), too - most offer the same port forwarding feature, too. And adding a second NAT router in the data path will be cumbersome.
In general, more and more ISP don't assign public routeable IPv4 addresses to the Internet service connections (the number of available IPv4 addresses is simply limited and not an endless resource - this is sufficient to surf the Internet, to do downloads. Like a phone number you can call out, but you can't be called. For serving a reachable IPv4 address on a port forwarding, you need a routeable public Internet connection. On some services you can request this, other ISPs are adding an additional charge or offer this feature with business class connections only.
