Adding SFP to conenct from GS752TPPv3 to LG TV ... Help!!
Evening all,
I have 2 GS752TPP's in a home environment. They were new last year and I have Insight installed.
We have RJ45 cat 5e to Cat 6 flood wired throughout the property which works very solidly connecting things like TVs, Sonos boxes, PoE cameras, streaming boxes etc. There is also an Orbi wifi system for mobile devices, laptops etc.
I'm currently re-wiring a room to facilitate a new up to date TV and Sonos home theatre system and have the opportunity to install fiber HDMI and fiber to the TV.
It's not strictly necessary but given the roof and walls are stripped out and I can install a conduit, it seems worthwhile to grab the opportunity
Have looked at articles and can see roughly what I might need but I'm having trouble translating this into Netgear products.
The switches are in a room approximately 10 meters from the TV. The area behind the TV has been channelled out such that I can install a hub or media converter, cables and power.
I know I need an SFP module at the switch. Currently there are none fitted. If I read correctly, it is the ideal to have the SFP module at each end. But past that, I'm a bit in the dark.
Would appreciate any advice, product suggestions, how I could connect the 752TPP to the TV in fiber to get the fastest, more robust, future proofed connection and configuration please.
I've read about third party SFP's that are brand independent but would prefer keep the entire home network Netgear if humanly possible.

Unless there are -real- issues you have to address, establishing a fibre connection -just- to connect a TV isn't worth the cost and effort involved.
An argument for fibre could be establishing a much faster backhaul connection, say between the two GS752TPP, or from one (or both to add redundancy to your network) of these to a new established switch near to your TV, in case there is a need to connected even more performance demanding systems, or the the lack of physical space required for installing copper Ethernet. Of course, fibre is a great investment into the in case you plan to operate a much faster backhaul (like 25 Gb/s or more) one day
For just a few meters connecting a TV, wired Ethernet is perfectly fine - and sufficient even in the future.

Totally agree that it's overkill for our environment. Then again, that was what folks told me early 90's when we did the original RJ45 floodwire when rennovating the house. :-) .... and yet all these years on, it's proved to have paid back many fold.
Still you are correct, we don't need the degree of firepower we have and trying to play with. Being honest the switches we have are probaby also overkill for a home environment. But part of it for me is the experimentation, the fun of trying to do some of it .... same for the fiber. Would the Cat 6 feeds be enough? For sure. Would the fiber option be a lot more fun to try? For me yes. And take your point about linking the 2 switches .... I'd also like to do that.
I have already got the fibers ... and indeed today will feed them through the conduit .... even if unused. The Cat 6 feeds will be hard installed under cladding and plastered over as normal with UK data / power / audio etc. And indeed they can be fished through, removed, exchanged etc.
So totally take your point, it's not needed but I'd like to dabble with it. Recognising that benefits are limite to none, what SPF's might you install at the switch, and the media converter at the TV end? And to your point, what SPF devices might you fit on each switch to connect them?
When this current room rennovation is done, I'd like to do similar with office desktop and NAS boxes .... again we don't actually have any performace issues but I'm keen to have a play with fiber.

What kind of preassembled fibers are these? Multi Mode (MM) or Single Mode (SM)?
