Can I use GS308E unmanaged?
Hello
I have bought about 15EA NETGEAR GS308E about 3 years ago
I didn't know that GS308E was for managed switch (confused with GS308 products)
Is there a way to use GS308E in an unmanaged way?
I don't want to allocate ip address

It's an switch model built on an unmanaged core, with some very basic config options. In no aspect it's a fully Managed Switch class model, I?ll challenge a moderator to move this thread accordingly

Disable the DHCP client, statically allocate sokme unused IP addresses from the RFC1918 network subnet and range. That's all you can do. There is no management VLAN, nor any other filter option....
