Can't access GS108E switch on Windows 10
After upgrading to windows 10 I can't access my GS108E switch. Get "A fault occurred contacting the server. Fault message is:HTTP request error". Any idea what is the problem?

I reset the switch to factory defaults & it now works in WIN10. Wish I could label each port so I know whats connected to it. It's a bummer not knowing what I connected to all 8 ports. I should be allowed to label each port with a name. Can that be done? Thanks for your help. Close the case.

Not sure about clearing cache? Any help on that one?
The instructions for this can be search online. However, here are the instructions I found online for Chrome and Firefox respectively:
Here's how to clear cache in Chrome:
- Do one of the following:
- From the “Menu” button in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window, choose “Tools” > “Clear browsing data…“.
- Press “CTRL” + “Shift” + “Delete” in Windows or Linux, or “Command” + “Shift” + “Delete” on Mac OS X on your keyboard.
- Select “Menu” > “Settings” > “Show advanced settings…” > “Clear browsing data…“.
2. Select the period of time you wish to delete cached information using the “Obliterate the following items from” drop down menu. From there, you can choose “Cached images and files“.
3. Select the “Clear browsing data” button, and Chrome will clear your cache.
Here's how to clear cache in Firefox:
- From the History menu, select Clear Recent History. ...
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
Here are my follow-up questions:
a. Is the IP Address set on the GS108E a static IP Address or via DHCP?
b. I assume that the GS108E is connected to a router. Have you checked the attached devices on the web-GUI of your router? I believe you can view the IP Addresses of the devices connected in your network somewhere in the web-GUI of your router since all routers supports this feature.
c. By clearing the cache of your browser, are you able to access the web-GUI of the GS108E?
I look forward to your response.

Cache cleared. The IP is static (Which it has been sence day 1.). I just changed it to dynamac. Its the same router I have used from day 1 and I see the IP. Remember, EVERYTHING WORKS ON WINDOWS 7 BUT NOT WIN10.
I am going to check it as dynamac and see what happens, will let you know.
