Can't change password Netgear GS108Ev3 switch
Hello everyone,
In our organization we have 2 Netgear GS108Ev3 switches that we want to change the password off.
When I try to set a new password it won't give me any error or succes message when I click apply.
When I try to apply nothing happens like I sad, when I try to login again I am still able to log in with the old password.
Do you guys have any idea on what to do with this issue. Will a restart be enough?
We cant restart in business hours since a lot of devices are depending on this switch. For now I am trying to avoid that option.

A good start for admin questions is consulting the fine documentation https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GS108Ev3.aspx#docs - for example the https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/GS105EV2/WebManagedSwitches_UM_EN.pdf with the Change the Switch Password starting on p.70.
Keep in mind the ProSafe Plus Utility and the underlaying protocol. is obsolete, leaving alone that the utility and the technology is cumbersome.
