GS108E V2 vs V3

Question

Hi,as far as I know the difference between v2 and v3 is the web-interface for configuration.But how can I tell if a switch is v2 or v3?I may buy a used one and need to tell the non-tech-savvy seller how to determine the version.Many thanks.

This is correct.
&nbsp;
A photo of the physical device, especially the labels of the device (backside, and/or the original color box with the labels attached) could give some insight.
&nbsp;
Alternate, run the&nbsp;Warranty Check&nbsp;and input the device serial number.
&nbsp;
Similar, I would imagine the&nbsp;Netgear Switch Discovery Tool&nbsp;run on the network with the switch connected, would show the version, too.

In my experience the label usually have something like v2, v3 or the model number GS108-200 GS108-300, or some variation of that. My GS716T v2 says V2H2 after the label.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
As&nbsp;schumaku&nbsp;says, a photo of the label would help.&nbsp;
