Correct it's a smart switch not a fully managed switch... The model info I gave is correct also.

Are you sure you didn't mean the GS108eV2 or the GS108Tv2?
The GS108T has a control to disable DOS attacks, the GS108e doesn't (at least nothing in the manual)

It sounds like Router->gs108->gs308->Cisco AP
Is that right? What other stuff is connected?
Is everything on 192.168.2.x?

Everything is on the same network. Yes, that's the network topology. The network cable is a straight through cable from switch to switch.
Wireless printer has been disconnected and it still happens. It seems from searching, their are other cases of this happening on this forum and no real answer.
