GS110TPv3 incompatible with Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-M
Hi everyone, I'm faced with an issue between the devices GS110TPv3 and Unifi UAP-AC-M. On the UAP-AC-M I have two SSIDs: MAIN -> This SSID is using untagged network communication SECOND -> This...

Hallo Harry,
The AP works correct on the GS750E and on the same port in use as a trunk to the GS110TPv3 when I get you right.
Looked twice over the screenshots today - can't spot anything obviously on either device. Hmmmm.....see what you feel.
Just wild ideas, current GS110TPv3 firmware, factory reset, reconfig from scratch, ... Clueless.

schumaku : THANKS for your help.
I made a factory reset and configured the switch like it was before - and now it works!
Really strange.
Thanks again and best regards,
Harry

Harry,
Reset which of the two switches?
Have plugged a GS750E between a PoE switch and an AP - SSIDs mapped to VLANs (tagged on the wire) don't get any IP assigned.

Hi Kurt,
had to reset and reconfigure the GS110TP.
Because this switch was internally not forwarding the request coming from AP to other ports (also not to trunk port to other switch(es)).
Best,
Harry

Hi Kurt,
the issue exists again!
As I setup the LAG-Trunk between two Ports from GS750E and GS110TP the issue is back.
As I reseted the switch and reconfigred it, I did not setup the LAG. With this setup I thought the issue was gone, but now I just additionally setup the LAG - and the issue is back.
Broadcast from untagged VLAN-ID is not routed through LAG.
Any advice from you as expert?
Thanks!!

I was analyzing the issue again. And hopefully I found the reason why.
When I activate the LAG in GS1110TP, the VLAN-configuration for the involved Trunk-Ports is not cleared for "the single Ports".
This means, that in my example the Port g1 and g2 had - also after putting these prots to LAG - VLAN1 as untagged. Also the LAG of these Ports had VLAN1 as untagged.
I removed any VLAN relationship to the "single Ports" because they are getting it from the related LAG!
My other switch from netgear is removing this by default when activating an LAG.
After that I made a reboot and cleared the address table.
Now it works - hopefully without further issues.
I hope this will help also anyone else.
BR, Harry

This is correct - the LAG-port VLAN membership must be set to [ ] unassigned on the Smrt Managed Pro switches.

Newer Smart Managed Plus switches indeed adjust the LAG VLAN-per-port membership autoatically - at least while the LAG is up.
