The behavior of th DHCP. My Problem is, that when the DHCP-Server is not reachable, the GS308E lost the static IP. Thus, the switch and all devices behind the switch are no longer accessible. That is a big Problem in my private network. Most of the time this happens when I am not at home and therefore I can't pull a plug. During this time, my smart home does not run correctly.
Or am I misunderstanding this thread?

Yes, I think you do. This does only affect the management of the switch. The other L2 traffic, including any communication to your IoT isn't affected by this issue at all-
