GS305E "The Switch and Manager IP Adress are not in the same subnet"?

So,

I've done a hard reset of all my hardware, which are:
- Modem/Router
- Switch #1
- Switch #2

Now, i've setup my Router, which is also the modem.
It's Subnet Netmask is 255.255.240.0. (IPV4)

The Switch's Subnet Netmask are 255.255.255.0. Due this, my PC cannot connect to the switches, as the IP can not be find.

I'm experiencing this issue:
When opening the ProSAFE app and press 'IP SETTING' for a switch, and try to change the Subnet to 255.255.240.0, it says "The Plus Utility management is currently disabled for this switch. Use the webbrowser based management interface to log in to this device."

Aha, guess not. Because, when going to it's IP-Adres (which is written on the device's back) 192.168.0.239, it tells me that IP-Adres is not responding.

That's real f*cked up, now i can't confige my switches. I've already done 3 factory defaults, but na-ah!

Also, fun fact. In "Netgear Switch Discovery Tool", it states no switches we're found. But in the ProSAFE app, it shows both switches...

A good example on how to make life difficult.

Does the router assign an IP address to the switches, does the utility show an IP address in that subnet?

This is correct. the Netgear NSDP protocol used for the Plus Utility (EoL....) is disabled except for the discovery. No idea this minute why the NSDT does not allow to find the switch ... except potentially the subnet mask.

If the Plus Utility does show IP addesses in your IP subnet, and different from the default .0.239 ... the default IP is not active obviously.

I would suggest to disconnect the switches from the network, use a computer with an Ethernet adapter, connect a cable, re-start the switch (each on it's own of course), configue an IP address on the computer adapter in the 192.168.0.x/24 subnet (255.255.255.0) - now you can connect the switch. Configure a static (fixed) IP on the switch in the 255.255.240.0 network. Power down, repeat the same with the second switch. Let's pray this is possible and allowed.
