On top my existing issue i strated to get a different issue,
I managed to connect the router with the switch and getting 1000M but whe the system is left idel for some time and it starts to drop the speed to 100M again , i have to unplug and replug the cable again to get back the 1000M speed again , its an managed switch and i tried to check the power cycle and other settings and eveything seems to be okay , i dohave other 305 switch connected to the same router and seems that is also behaving the same ( falling to 100m when left idle) . So i believe im missing some setting on the router itself which is causing the issue.

Modern PCs, notebooks, media players, even devices which can be activated by Wake-on-LAN can demand lower power link states, like Fast Ethernet (== 100 Mb/s), which is perfectly sufficient to keep the connectivity up - these are all mandetory power saving methods required nowadys. Once the full speed is required again, GbE (1000M), or where available on more expensive equipment 2.5G, 5G, 10 G (as well s 25G or 40G!) will come up when required.
Disconnecting and re-estblishing the Ethernet link (including restarting the PC, appliance, ...) will of course bring up the link on the re-negotiated mximum allowed link state again - until power saving will jump in again.
There is no control you have missed - this is intended operational behavior nowadays.
Agree, to the unexperienced user, this might look strange if starting to monitor thier newer network equipment.
