Got the above switch and using it as a dumb switch, so currnertly not using any of the VLANs etc. Want to set an alternative DNS and the supplied router from Virgin Media does not support this. Tri...

This GS716Tv3 does support DNS but as a client or to allow the switch to send DNS queries. Maybe you have a different model?
