GS724TPv2 Link Drop Events for many of the ports
Hello,
I am a little inexperienced with managing my own office network, but I have been trying to figure out what I can do to improve the performance of the network. I am currently working off of the ISP router/modem combo which is connected to the GS724TPv2 switch which has about 10 Grandstream phones daisy chained to their respected computers. As far as I can tell, we have enough bandwidth coming in, but the switch keeps having "Link Drop Events" for most of the ports. There are 2 VLANs currently active on the switch, the generic VLAN1 and a separate VLAN10 for the Auto-Voip configuration. So far, the Auto-Voip VLAN has not recognized any lines as Voice service lines but that may be because the computers are connected through the Grandstream PC port for internet access.
I have not found any other posts that have been having this issue with this particular model of switch but if at this point anything might help.
Thank you and I hope to hear from someone soon.
