GS724Tv4 not showing in Discovery tool

At our elementary school we have (6) GS724T switches but admin page only loads for one of them. I used the Discovery tool on a Mac but it can’t see any of them. We also have intermittent port blocks & im not sure if it’s related to STP/RSTP.

Do I have to physically factory-reset these and update their firmware?

  • Assuming it's an all flat network ... time to take over control again. Assuming all are GS324Tv4 (or v3), the discovery tool should show them - the older hardwre variant used another tool set.
