interestingly to get the screenshots i decided to get lug a lan cable directly into the switch.. previously i was trying to do the update via a wi-fi connection.
this time it all worked.. i was doing the original update via the prosafe app.. then when logging in (via chrome) it was just prompting to install the firmware again.. However with a direct ethernet cable, this time when i logged in through chrome.. i was asked to upload the boot loader and all worked!!
All sorted now.. just hope this may help some one else :-)

Regarding the 1st question "which browser version are you using?", which browser do you use? IE, Chrome or Firefox? Which is its version number? Thanks
