M4300 Firmware Upgrade Path from 12.0.11.16 to 12.0.17.19
Hello,
I just inherited management of some switches with old firmware... Has anyone successfully done a direct upgrade from firmware train 12.0.11.x to 12.0.17.x ?
Can support please put up an article with Upgrade Path between major versions at least?
I see a lot of questions regarding this... It's always concerning to do remote upgrades without the peace of mind that an official Firmware Upgrade Path from netgear support, would bring us all!
Please consider this request seriously.
Is it safe to do a direct upgrade from firmware train 12.0.11.x to 12.0.17.x ?
About Boot Code... Does release 12.0.17.x still uses boot code 1.0.0.9 or do we need to update boot code?

You will normally warned from release notes from our site if there is a need to update the firmware on laddered manner or not. Otherwise there is no issue updating the firmware from an older version to the latest. You may check the release notes of the latest version of firmware from the link below:
