Macbook no UP status
Hi, new on here so apologies for any lack of knowledge. I have a MacBook Pro connected to my GS308EPP but it is not showing UP port status as is a connected router and NAS. It is showing AVAILABLE al...
In fact there is another Netgear 8 port switch (not sure of model) in line so apologies, the MacBook would not show up on the port status as it was connected to that switch. However, doing tests using the additional switch compared to a direct connection to the GS308EPP shows a significant difference in performance. I attach two screen shots to show how the additional switch degrades performance. I used LAN Speedtest and iPerf3 on the MacBook to do the tests. Many thanks.
