Not getting IP from DHCP GS108PEv3
Not sure where to post this. I needed some more control over my network so I bought the GS108PEv3.
I have Cox for an ISP. I have an Arris cable modem that also provides wifi. The modem gets the IP from Cox then provides addresses on 192.168.0.0/24 through DHCP to anything connected to the modem or through the wifi.
I bought a TP-Link Deco S4 wireless mesh for better wifi performance. This is connected to the cable modem and provides its own network on 192.168.68.0/24. I can connect devices to this with DHCP through wifi or connected to an unmanaged switch I connected to one of the ports on the wireless mesh router.
I connected the Netgear GS108PEv3 to one of the ports on one of the mesh routers in another room away from the cable modem. The Netgear switch is not getting an IP from the DHCP server on the wireless mesh router it is connected to. I don't see any new discovered devices on the mesh router app. I also downloaded the discovery tool which does not find anything. Looking at the switch, I'm not getting any lights in the left LED for the port connected to the wireless mesh router.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Oddly, it seems to act fine as an unmanaged switch this way right now. If I connect other devices to the switch, they get DHCP assignments from the wireless mesh router.

Idk, it took a really long time, but I was finally able to see it on my wireless mesh DHCP network. I was able to access the web ui and change it to a static IP. Now to figure out how to setup some VLANs so I can have an isolated network to run a dedicated DHCP server while still having full internet access.

The article below might serve as your reference guide in setting up VLANs on your GS108PEv3:
How to configure VLANs on a ProSAFE Web Managed Plus Switch with shared access to the internet?
