Port mirroring to communicating computer GS716Tv3

Hello,

I have just received GS716Tv3 switch and have configured a port as mirroring port, I correctly receive traffic from other ports.

My issue is that the sink port is actually connected to a computer that I would want to communicate with others on the network using the same port.

It looks like the mirroring port stops communications coming from outside, is there anyway to use the port to mirror others and still use it to communicate?

The other solution would be to use 2 ports for the computer, 1 for mirroring and 1 for communicating but that would imply a modification of my specific software which would probably mean a lot more work for me...

Nevermind, it obviously is the normal behavior, I'll have to work on my side. Sorry i did not find how to remove my post
