Primary Secondary Configuration M4250-16XSFP+

Hello,
I am very new to network topology as I am a more a broadcast video guy then a IT guy but I am trying to configure a Dante network that has multiple M4250 switches in various locations. Each switch has a dual SFP ports that is tied down to a equipment room that has two M4250-16XSFP+ switches. I have a one strand of fiber from the switches going into a SFP in the primary switch and the other strand going into a SFP in the secondary switch. My want is to create some redundancy in the event a SFP goes bad or if a PS on one of the M4250-16Xsfp.
I have used the preloaded Dante Audio configuration that come with the switches which works great but when put the secondary switch in loop it is causing latency within Dante which then makes the audio drop out.
Is there a way to configure the switches to create this redundant loop basically?

    Hi Btraina2007 ,

In fact, the M4250 AV UI is allowing just that in Configure\Overview page. You just neeed to change the STP Network Redundancy there. By default this Neutral Mode, and all switches at the edge should stay like that. But at the core, the primary switch you want to use needs to be configured in "Primary Mode". Please save that once done. Then log to the second core switch, and select the "Backup Mode" and save. This should solve your issue.

You can always send an email to ProAVDesign@netgear.com for assistance on the NETGEAR AV Line of switches (M4250 M4300, M4500).

    I hope this helps,
