slow speed over 10 Gig fiber | XS748T and XS716E

Good day all. I have a 10 Gig fiber cross connect between 2 sites. From the 10Gig we are limited to 2Gib/s. At the end of one point is a XS748T and the other pooint is XS716E. Both switched are connected via the SFP+ port over the fiber. Simple layer 2 network config. I have set my MTU on my interface cards to the desired value of 9000. My service provider is MTU 9028. the issues i am facing is that i am not able to get anthing over 200Mb using Iperf3. What could be the issue.

Also will these model switchs automatically detect and change the MTU as there is no where to do it in the gui and there is no SSH options.

Is this based on any observation, or do you have a contractual limitation to 2 Gib/s?

What is the point - especially in a purt L2 environment? The switches can process frames on your connection required MTU (or bigger). Al fine, nothing to configure. What should the L2 switch do if it will get frames larger than the "configured" number do? It would simply drop the frames - without letting anybody know. The essential PTMUD does happen between L3 devices, like the two end points.
